Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a fully left-handed rifle?

Yes. The bolt and bolt handle are located on the left side, allowing a left-handed shooter to cycle the action more naturally without removing the rifle from the shoulder.

Can a suppressor be mounted on this rifle?

Yes. The barrel has an M14×1 muzzle thread. The suppressor must be compatible with this thread and the .308 Winchester caliber.

Are scope mounts included?

According to Jahipaun’s product information, two Weaver-type scope bases are included. The scope and appropriate rings must be selected separately.

How does the bolt release button work?

The separate release button allows you to open the bolt and unload the rifle even when the two-position safety is engaged.

How many rounds does the magazine hold?

The detachable magazine holds three rounds. Including one in the chamber, the rifle’s total technical capacity is 3+1.

What are the requirements for purchasing this firearm?

This is a civilian-restricted firearm. A valid acquisition permit or firearm license and seller-required identification are necessary for purchase.

When is the Winchester XPR LH .308 Win the right choice?

This model is suitable for left-handed shooters who want to operate the bolt with their dominant hand without unnecessary changes in shooting position. The .308 Winchester caliber, composite stock, and moderate 530 mm barrel provide a versatile hunting configuration.

A right-handed XPR can be used from the left shoulder in a pinch, but the left-side bolt offers more natural ergonomics for regular use. If you prefer the more powerful .30-06 Springfield, consider the corresponding XPR LH version.

Our recommendation

The left-handed mechanism offers the greatest advantage when the entire rifle setup supports shooting from the left shoulder. Mount your optics so that eye relief and sight picture are correct in your usual shooting position, and ensure the rings do not obstruct bolt movement. Choose rings compatible with the included Weaver bases.

With .308 Winchester ammunition, try several loads suitable for your target game and select the best based on controlled range tests. When installing a suppressor, check the cleanliness of the M14×1 thread, the device’s caliber compatibility, and alignment. After adding optics or a muzzle device, re-confirm your point of impact. Practice handling the safety, magazine, and bolt with gloves, as the main value of a left-handed rifle is smoother and more consistent operation.
