DAIWA BLACK WIDOW 5500A FISHING REEL

The Daiwa Black Widow 5500A combines generous line capacity with a robust design intended for long-distance casting. As a Big Pit reel, it is particularly suitable for carp fishing, where feeding areas and fishing spots may be located well away from the bank.

The aluminium long-cast spool and 35 mm spool stroke are designed to support smooth line release during casting. The spool holds 460 metres of 0.35 mm monofilament line, providing plenty of line for fishing at longer distances.

With a gear ratio of 4.1:1, the reel retrieves approximately 85 cm of line per handle turn. The maximum drag force of 10 kg helps control line tension when playing fish. The Infinite Anti-Reverse® system prevents unwanted reverse handle movement, while the Soft-Touch handle knob provides a comfortable grip.

The Daiwa Black Widow 5500A is a practical option for anglers looking for a high-capacity reel designed for long casts and carp fishing.
