RAPALA X-RAP MAGNUM XPLODE 17 CM 145 G PSYP

The Rapala X-Rap Magnum Xplode is designed for situations where a lure needs to withstand powerful attacks from large predatory fish. Its thick-walled ABS body and through-wire construction provide a robust foundation, while VMC 6X Strong Needle Point hooks and heavy-duty split rings are built for demanding fishing conditions.

The low-position line tie pulls the lure downward during the retrieve, while the deep-cupped face creates a large splash and surface disturbance with every sweep. The rear-weighted design helps the lure maintain the correct resting position on the surface and also supports long casting. A 3D holographic eye and internal flash foil add visual attraction.

Recommendation

The Rapala X-Rap Magnum Xplode is suited to targeting large, powerful predators where the lure and terminal components need to withstand heavy pressure. Its deep-cupped face creates substantial surface disturbance during each sweep, making it suitable for active topwater presentations. At 145 g, it should be paired with tackle designed to handle the lure's weight and the demands of big-fish fishing.
