RUSAN MODULAR ADAPTER SÜSTEM FLIP-UP COVER

The Rusan MS-FC is a durable aluminum flip-up protective cover designed for the Rusan Modular Adapter System. When the thermal or night vision front attachment is removed, the cover helps protect the riflescope objective lens from dust, dirt, moisture, and accidental contact. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Rusan MS-FC suitable for?

The cover is used with the Rusan Modular Adapter System MAR and MAR-FX adapters. It is not a universal cover for all optics or for standard non-modular adapters.

Do I need to know the riflescope objective lens diameter when choosing the cover?

The MS-FC attaches to the standard modular adapter connection, so the cover itself is not chosen according to the external diameter of the scope objective. However, the MAR or MAR-FX adapter must be selected precisely to fit the external diameter of your specific optic.

Do I need to remove the cover to attach a thermal or night vision device?

No. The cover flips up, leaving the modular adapter connection free for attaching the front device. Before use, make sure the cover is fully open and does not obstruct the connection from locking.

Is the Rusan MS-FC waterproof?

The manufacturer has not published an official IP waterproof rating. The cover helps keep the lens away from dust, dirt, and normal outdoor moisture, but it should not be considered a completely watertight seal.

When is the Rusan MS-FC the right choice?

The Rusan MS-FC is best suited when the MAR or MAR-FX adapter is left attached to the riflescope and the thermal or night vision front attachment is installed as needed. The flip-up cover protects the scope objective when not using a front device, but allows the connection to be quickly opened.

A simple removable MAR adapter cover might be a more affordable choice if the connection is rarely used and fully removing the cover is not an issue. The MS-FC is more practical for frequent reconfiguration. If you use a Rusan ARM-52 or another manufacturer's adapter system, you should choose a cover specifically designed for that system.

We recommend

Check the model marking on the adapter before purchase. Visually similar Rusan covers may be intended for the MAR adapter's scope-side clamp, the device-mounted MCR connector, or another connection. The MS-FC is a flip-up solution for the Rusan Modular Adapter System.

When installing, remove the front attachment and follow Rusan's instructions. Do not force or overtighten the mounting part, as the precisely made adapter threads may be damaged if started incorrectly. Set the opening direction of the cover so it does not touch the scope body, adjustment turrets, or barrel.

After use in rain or snow, dry the cover and adapter, and remove sand or other abrasive dirt from the hinge and connection surfaces. The MS-FC provides good everyday lens protection, but for transporting the weapon, a suitable gun bag or case should still be used.

Practical objective lens protection for the Rusan MAR system

The Rusan MS-FC combines a quick-release flip-up mechanism, robust aluminum construction, and a lightweight 54 g design. It is a practical addition for hunters who keep the Rusan MAR or MAR-FX adapter attached to their optic and want better protection for the scope objective when not using a front device.
