Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Houston K P320C fit all SIG Sauer P320 models?

No. This variant is marked as suitable for SIG Sauer M18, P320 Nitron Compact, and P320 XCompact pistols. The slides, grip modules, barrel lengths, and controls of P320 platform models may differ, so compatibility should not be automatically extended to other P320 versions.

Is the holster suitable for right-handed users?

No. The K P320C (LH) is a left-handed variant. For right-handed draw, choose the right-handed (RH) version of the same model.

Can the retention be adjusted?

Yes. The holster retention is adjustable. The setting must hold the pistol securely while allowing a controlled and smooth draw.

Is the holster suitable for a pistol with an optical sight?

The manufacturer does not specify the presence of an optic cut for this variant. If a collimator sight is installed on the pistol, you should separately check the compatibility between the sight and the edge of the holster before purchase.

Is the holster suitable for a pistol with a weapon light or laser?

The manufacturer does not specify the K P320C variant for use with a weapon light or laser. Do not force a pistol with an accessory into the holster. For such a configuration, choose a holster made specifically for the exact combination of pistol and accessory.

What is the purpose of the holster’s inner lining?

The soft suede-like inner lining reduces direct friction of the pistol surface against the rigid Kydex body. This does not completely prevent wear marks, as dust and dirt can also scratch the surface.

How to check the holster’s compatibility?

First, ensure the pistol is completely unloaded and ammunition is stored away from the work area. Slowly insert the pistol into the holster and check that it locks evenly, the trigger area is protected, and all controls, including the safety if present, remain accessible.

When is the Houston K P320C the right choice?

This holster is suitable for left-handed users with a standard configuration SIG Sauer M18, P320 Nitron Compact, or P320 XCompact who are looking for a rigid holster carried inside the waistband. The Kydex body retains its shape, adjustable retention allows for customized hold, and the soft inner lining helps protect the pistol’s finish.

If the pistol is equipped with a collimator sight, weapon light, laser, an unusual grip module, or other accessories, you must choose a holster made for that specific configuration. Right-handed users require the RH version.

Expert recommendation

The SIG Sauer P320 is a modular platform, so pistols with the same model name may have different configurations. Before use, check the compatibility of the slide, grip module, safety, and any accessories. Always test the holster with a completely unloaded pistol and ensure that no clothing or other objects can access the trigger area.

Adjust the retention so that the pistol stays secure during normal movement but can be drawn in a controlled manner. Regularly check the tightness of the belt clip and retention screws, and clean the inside of the holster from sand and other abrasive dirt. Always follow local laws and firearm safety requirements when carrying.
