Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Houston K P320F fit all SIG Sauer P320 models?

No. This variant is specified as compatible with SIG Sauer M17, P320 Nitron Full Size, and P320 XFull pistols. For compact and subcompact P320 models, a holster matching their dimensions must be selected.

Is the holster suitable for right-handed users?

No. The K P320F (LH) is a left-handed variant. For right-handed draw, choose the right-handed (RH) version of the same model.

Can the holster retention be adjusted?

Yes. The retention is adjustable. The setting should hold the pistol securely while still allowing for a controlled and smooth draw.

Is the holster suitable for a pistol with an optic?

The manufacturer does not specify the existence of an optic cut for this variant. If a red dot sight is installed on the pistol, check the fit between the sight and the edge of the holster before purchase.

Is the holster suitable for a pistol with a weapon light or laser?

The manufacturer does not specify the K P320F variant for use with a weapon light or laser. Do not force a pistol with an accessory into the holster. For such configurations, choose a holster made specifically for the exact pistol and accessory combination.

Does the SIG Sauer M17 manual safety affect compatibility?

The manufacturer lists the M17 among compatible models for this holster variant. However, before use, make sure the holster does not press on the manual safety or interfere with any controls.

What is the purpose of the holster’s inner lining?

The soft suede-like inner lining reduces direct friction between the pistol surface and the rigid Kydex body. This does not completely prevent wear marks, as dust and sand inside the holster may also scratch the surface.

How to check holster compatibility?

First, ensure the pistol is completely unloaded and ammunition is stored away from the work area. Slowly insert the pistol into the holster and check for an even fit, that the trigger area is protected, and all controls remain accessible.

When is the Houston K P320F the right choice?

This holster is suitable for left-handed users with a standard configuration SIG Sauer M17, P320 Nitron Full Size, or P320 XFull. The rigid Kydex body retains its shape, adjustable retention allows for customized hold, and the soft inner lining helps protect the pistol’s finish.

If your pistol has a red dot sight, weapon light, laser, a non-standard grip module, or any other accessory that changes its dimensions, you must choose a holster made specifically for that exact configuration. Right-handed users need the RH version.

Expert recommendation

The full-size P320 pistol is longer than the compact model and may require a sturdier belt and more carefully chosen carry position. Try the holster with an unloaded pistol before regular use, and check while sitting, walking, and bending to ensure the firearm stays secure and the holster remains comfortable.

Adjust retention so the pistol cannot come out of the holster during normal movement, but still allows for a controlled, smooth draw. Regularly check the tightness of the belt clip and retention screws, and clean the inner lining of abrasive dirt. Always follow local laws and safe firearm handling requirements when carrying.
