Frequently Asked Questions

Does the Houston K 365 fit P365 XL or P365 XMacro models?

No. This variant is designed for the standard SIG Sauer P365 pistol. The P365 XL and P365 XMacro differ in dimensions and require a separate suitable holster.

Does the holster fit the P365-380 model?

The manufacturer lists a separate holster variant for the P365-380. Therefore, the suitability of the K 365 should not be automatically extended to this model.

Is the holster suitable for right-handed users?

No. The K 365 (LH) is a left-handed variant. For right-handed draw, choose the right-handed (RH) version of the same model.

Can the retention be adjusted?

Yes. The holster retention is adjustable. The setting should hold the pistol securely while allowing controlled and smooth draw.

Does the holster fit a P365 with an optical sight?

The manufacturer does not specify the presence of an optic cut for this variant. If a red dot sight is installed on the pistol, check the fit between the sight and the edge of the holster separately before purchase.

Is the holster compatible with a pistol equipped with a weapon light or laser?

The manufacturer does not indicate the K 365 variant for use with a weapon light or laser. Do not force a pistol with accessories into the holster. For such configurations, choose a holster made specifically for the exact pistol and accessory combination.

Does the holster fit a P365 with a manual safety?

The manufacturer does not distinguish between manual safety and non-safety P365 versions for this variant. If your pistol has a manual safety, check with an unloaded gun that the holster does not press on or restrict the movement of the safety.

What is the purpose of the holster's inner lining?

The soft suede-like inner lining reduces direct friction of the pistol's surface against the rigid Kydex body. This does not completely eliminate usage marks, as dust and sand entering the holster can also scratch the surface.

When is the Houston K 365 the right choice?

This holster is suitable for left-handed users with a standard configuration SIG Sauer P365 who are looking for a compact inside-the-waistband holster. The Kydex body retains its shape, the adjustable retention allows for customizable hold, and the soft inner lining helps protect the pistol's finish.

If you use a P365 XL, P365 XMacro, P365-380, or a P365 with accessories, choose a holster verified for that exact model and configuration. Right-handed users require the RH version.

Expert recommendation

Always check holster fit with a completely unloaded pistol. The pistol should sit evenly in the holster, the trigger area must be protected, and no control should be under pressure from the holster. Practice drawing initially only with an unloaded weapon and make sure that clothing does not enter the trigger area when holstering.

Adjust retention so that the pistol stays secure during normal movement but can be drawn with controlled force. Regularly check the tightness of the belt clip and retention screws, and clean the inside of the holster from abrasive dirt.
