Frequently Asked Questions

How long is the barrel of the Beretta BRX1 7 mm Rem Mag?

The barrel length is 610 mm or 24 inches. This length is well suited for the 7 mm Remington Magnum cartridge, but the actual muzzle velocity depends on the ammunition used and the specific rifle.

Is the Beretta BRX1 suitable for left-handed shooters?

Yes. The BRX1 bolt handle and ejection direction can be reconfigured. Reconfiguration must be carried out exactly according to the manufacturer's manual or by a qualified gunsmith.

Can a suppressor be installed on the rifle?

The barrel muzzle has an M14×1 thread. A suppressor or other muzzle device must fit this thread and the 7 mm Rem Mag caliber, and be approved by the manufacturer for magnum caliber pressures.

How many rounds does the magazine hold?

The detachable magazine used with the rifle holds five 7 mm Remington Magnum cartridges. The orange color makes the removed magazine more visible in the field and in the gun bag.

Is an optical sight included?

An optical sight is not usually included. The rifle has a factory-installed Picatinny rail, to which suitable scope mounts and an optical sight can be added.

Can the BRX1 barrel be changed?

The BRX1 is a modular rifle system with an interchangeable barrel and bolt components. When changing caliber, only fully compatible manufacturer components must be used and the manual must be followed.

What type of hunting is the 7 mm Rem Mag suitable for?

The 7 mm Remington Magnum is primarily suitable for big game hunting and situations where high velocity and a flatter trajectory are desired. The appropriate bullet, bullet weight, and shooting distance must be chosen according to current regulations and hunting conditions.

What are the requirements for purchasing the rifle?

The Beretta BRX1 is a firearm with restricted civilian circulation. Purchase and transfer are carried out in accordance with current firearms laws, required acquisition permits, and Jahipaun's instructions.

When is the Beretta BRX1 7 mm Rem Mag the right choice?

This configuration is suitable for the hunter who wants a magnum-caliber rifle with fast cycling for open terrain, mountains, or longer hunting shots. The 610 mm barrel allows the 7 mm Rem Mag cartridge to reach its velocity potential, and the straight-pull bolt makes follow-up shots smoother compared to a traditional bolt action.

If most hunting takes place in dense forests, at short distances, or with a suppressor, a more compact .308 Win configuration may be more manageable. If you prefer lower recoil and more affordable practice ammunition, consider the 6.5 Creedmoor or another standard caliber.

We recommend

Before choosing optics, adjust the stock length of pull while wearing your usual hunting clothing. Then select the scope mount height so that your cheek rests naturally on the stock and the entire field of view is visible without lifting your head unnaturally. Due to the recoil of the 7 mm Rem Mag, the optical sight and its mount must be suitable for magnum calibers.

If you install a suppressor or muzzle brake, check the compatibility of the M14×1 thread, the device's permitted caliber, and pressure rating. After installing optics or a muzzle device, the rifle must be properly zeroed at a shooting range.

Before going hunting, try several cartridges with different bullet weights and constructions. Different rifles may react differently to the same caliber ammunition, and the most expensive or fastest cartridge may not give the best groupings. Keep verified ballistic data for your chosen hunting ammunition and always follow the rifle's manual and safe gun handling requirements.

Fast and modular magnum-caliber hunting rifle

The Beretta BRX1 7 mm Rem Mag combines a 610 mm barrel, fast-operating straight-pull bolt, M14×1 muzzle thread, and an ambidextrous design. It is a strong choice for hunters who want a long-range hunting caliber and value the speed, adjustability, and modular construction of the BRX1 system.
