WESTIN HALIBUT ANTI TWIST RIG 550 G

The Westin Halibut Anti Twist Rig is a specialised rig for catching large halibut. Its design reduces line twist and allows the baitfish to move naturally in the current. This helps make the bait presentation more attractive, even to large and cautious predatory fish. The 190 cm rig is made from high-quality 1 mm nylon and fitted with a strong lead weight and two different hooks. Different colour options improve the rig's visibility underwater.

When is the Westin Halibut Anti Twist Rig the best choice?

Jahipaun's recommendation: The Westin Halibut Anti Twist Rig is a strong rig designed specifically for halibut fishing, with an anti-twist design as its main advantage. The natural movement of the baitfish in the current is important when catching large and cautious predatory fish, and the 190 cm rig gives the bait plenty of room to move. The 1 mm nylon line, 7/0 single hook and 3/0 treble hook are designed for catching large fish.

The 550 g coloured weight is suitable for use in deeper seawater. However, it is worth bearing in mind that this is a fairly specialised rig. If you fish for smaller fish, use lighter weights or prefer artificial lures, it is more practical to choose a lighter rig better suited to your fishing method.
