When is S&B 8×57 JS SPCE the right choice?

This loading suits an 8×57 JS hunting rifle when a heavy 196-grain projectile and SPCE construction are preferred. The firearm’s exact calibre marking must be checked particularly carefully.

Expert recommendation

Do not determine compatibility from the general “8 mm Mauser” name alone. Verify the exact firearm marking and have an older firearm of uncertain history inspected by a qualified gunsmith.
