Frequently asked questions

Is the CZ P-10 F ready for a red-dot sight?

No. This standard model does not have a factory-machined optics interface. Choose the CZ P-10 F OR if a slide-mounted red-dot sight is required.

Does the barrel have a muzzle thread?

No. The standard 114 mm barrel is not threaded. The CZ P-10 F OR SR combines an optics-ready slide with a longer threaded barrel.

What is the magazine capacity?

The standard magazine holds 19 rounds. Capacity can be increased to 21 rounds with a compatible extended magazine base. Only magazines and components intended for the specific model should be used.

Does the pistol have a manual safety?

There is no external manually operated safety. The pistol uses an automatic trigger safety, trigger-bar safety and firing-pin block. These systems do not replace correct firearm handling or the requirement to keep the finger away from the trigger until a shot has been deliberately chosen.

How does the CZ P-10 F differ from the P-10 F OR?

The principal dimensions, 114 mm barrel and 19-round capacity are similar. The P-10 F OR has a factory-machined slide interface for mounting a compatible red-dot sight, while this standard model does not.

How does the CZ P-10 F differ from the P-10 C?

The P-10 F is the full-size model, with a longer barrel, larger grip and 19-round standard magazine. The P-10 C is more compact and lighter, and normally uses a 15-round standard magazine.

Can the grip size be adjusted?

Yes. Interchangeable backstraps allow the rear profile of the grip to be adapted to the user’s hand. The correct backstrap should provide a secure grip and comfortable access to the trigger.

Do the luminescent sights glow continuously?

No. Luminescent material stores light to which it has previously been exposed and releases it gradually in darker conditions. It is not the same as a continuously self-illuminating tritium sight.

When is the CZ P-10 F the right choice?

The CZ P-10 F is well suited to shooters who want a full-size 9×19 pistol for regular range practice or sport shooting. Its large grip, 19-round magazine and 114 mm barrel provide stable handling and a long sight radius, while the polymer frame keeps the overall weight moderate.

Choose the P-10 F OR if a red-dot sight is planned. The P-10 F OR SR adds both an optics interface and a threaded barrel. A P-10 C may be more practical when the full-size grip and slide are larger than the intended use requires.

Expert recommendation

Before regular use, test each supplied grip backstrap. The appropriate size should allow a secure grip, a natural wrist position and comfortable trigger reach. After changing the backstrap, confirm that its retaining component is correctly installed.

Test suitable 9×19 ammunition with every magazine at a legally authorised shooting range. Shooters who practise regularly may find it useful to number their magazines so that any feeding issue can be associated with a specific magazine. Clean the pistol according to the manufacturer’s manual and always confirm that both the firearm and working area are free of ammunition before disassembly.

If a red-dot sight is likely to be added later, the factory optics-ready P-10 F OR is the more practical starting point. The standard P-10 F is best suited to users who prefer a simple, low-profile mechanical-sight configuration.

Full-size handling with a generous magazine capacity

The CZ P-10 F combines a 19-round magazine, a 114 mm cold-hammer-forged barrel and a full-size grip in a straightforward mechanical-sight configuration. It is a practical choice for shooters who value stable handling, durable construction and ample capacity for regular training.
